Fairly Easy Way to Determine Recruits OVR Rating?

I was browsing around in my Michigan Dynasty the other day, and I noticed something while recruiting. When you are highlighted on a recruit click more info, and move over to Pitch Interests, the early play time grade for your school is different for some players at the same position. For example, the early play time grade for me on the #3 WR was a C+, but for the #11 WR, the grade was a B+. Im thinking this means that the early play time grade pertains only to their overall with respect to the players that are already on your depth chart, not the number of players you currently have at that position.

I've never seen this, but then again, I haven't paid close enough attention to notice. Pretty interesting find though.

Never noticed this before. But I've also learned to not look at overall and to look at ratings to determine starters.

This is true. It goes for all your grades. Ive noticed it.

Thats a good way to see if the guy will be better than what you have NOW.

Keyword being now.

Because your guys may progress higher in Spring Training.

Still, it is a good way to gauge.

Hmmm... I can't decide if this is somehow cheating or not lol... But I'd lean toward NOT... Your coaching staff would have scouted the guy and know if he's better than your current players and would have pitched the guy accordingly... Nice find, I think I'll use this!

Yeah I noticed this pretty early as well. It pretty much correlates directly with your returning players' overalls. If their Early PT grade is A+, they will be one of, if not the best player at their position overall wise.
