Defense too hard

It seems to me that defense is way to hard. Most of the games are shootouts and the ones that are low scoring are only that way because of running the ball. The percentage of successful possesions is way too high. It seems that there is never a time where there arae 3 and outs. The person who commits the first and most turnovers usually dictates who wins.

You're right on with that last sentence. It's not that defense is hard it's that the AI is stupid. It was good when the game came out except for the psychic CB's. And all the EA had to do was tone it down but noooo they made man-man pretty bad now.

I agree alot of games online are shoot outs more often than not

yep thats why I deleted the patches. I cant play online but I never did anyway.

Agree. Now I can watch the CPU throw it to a receiver that is covered by one of my defenders, only to have the defender watch the receiver make the catch without making an attempt to break the pass up. I think the other big problem is that the CPU recognition is way too good. This makes blitzing, specifically zone blitzing, basically useless. The CPU almost never makes a mistake when it throws the ball during a blitz.
