Sim or Play?

i just got the game and i am wondering which is better for dynasty, sim the games or play every game?

Depends on what you're doing. I like the aspect of building my team more than playing the games, so I like to just recruit every week and sim in most of my offline dynasties. Most people would rather play though.

Play most of the games but simulate a few, or only play one side of the ball and super sim the rest.

I feel like you can get burned out by playing every down of every game. You could sim the games your team is favored in only maybe. I probably sim about 3 games per season, so that still leaves a bunch to be played in whole. You've got to be able to accept the simulated result though and move on, if your team gets upset by someone you know you would have beaten you've just gotta suck it up and take the loss.

Also though I would receommend playing some of the games against cupcakes because, of course, it can be fun to just whomp the heck out of somebody.

I experienced burnout a few times as well, but I think that's due in large part to playing too many games, too quickly. Everyone has a different pace, but for me, even when I have a day completely off and available to me, I'll get burnt out if I play more than two games of my dynasty. I like dynasty seasons to take a decent amount of time - seems more realistic this way.
