Can a user play his game and let auto-pilot handle his recruiting?

In my work OD, a guy only wants to play his games and let the CPU do everything else. He played his first game and turned on auto-pilot.

Will auto-pilot override his game with a simmed result, or can he play games and allow auto-pilot handle the rest?

I haven't done an OD, but there should not be an issue, his played game won't be overwritten.

i know this is old, but he doesnt even have to go through the process of setting himself on autopilot in order for the cpu to recruit for him.

maybe you guys have figured this out since

The only use for autopilot is if there is a user vs user game where one of the two can't play it himself. In order for the other user to play the game the guy who can't play needs to be set to autopilot.

To have the CPU recruit for you it's as simple as turning on recruit assistance.
