Cant you just ignore the FB spot completely? Throw in your second tring TE as one live happily ever after. i completely agree with this, and I would love a larger roster size, but I didn't think you ahd to actually had to fill it out on the roster

Put your kicker in as the starting punter and replace the frosh punter with qbs as the backups on the depth charts. He won't see a snap and get redshirted by not playing.

I don't even go that far. I just put the senior as my starter at P, K, and KOS. The guy I want to redshirt is second on the depth chart. Never had a kicker injury, so I don't worry about it. And if he does get injured, I don't want a QB kicking.

Ideally they'd bump up the roster sizes to the 85 scholarship players you're allowed.

Or better yet, use limit of 105 players - wasting 2 spots on walk-on fullbacks wouldn't be such a big deal then!
