the NEW DC glitch

This has happened to me about a dozen times now. I'm getting DC glitched while the pause timer is counting down, even at like, 28, 27 seconds. How can I stop this? Or better yet, how is this happening to me?

I regularly stomp all over my opponent with my run game and when they get sick of it or call me a "cheeser" (really? on a run offense?) I'll get a pause from them and I'll just sit there and stare at the screen. I know that letting the timer run down is just what they want.

But sometimes, I'll start the timer and let it count down a bit to see if they are legitimately pausing the game. And A FEW TIMES I'M GETTING DC GLITCHED in the MIDDLE of the countdown!!! How is this possible?

AND EVEN CRAZIER: One time a few weeks ago I'm pounding the heck out of a guy with my O-line and he sends me a message "You wanna run a *** offense? I can do some *** stuff too!" (insert word for -homosexual-) So he pauses the game and instantly the DC glitch happens! WTF?!??! How is THAT possible? I didn't touch a thing! That means the guy can just choose to leave any game at any time for any reason?!?!? How does THAT happen?

I wanna know how to defend against these new glitches. I also want to hear from those of us out there who have experienced the same thing.
