Re: Ranking the SEC RB

Im not trying to sell spencer ware just because I live here in Louisiana and go to all the games but spencer ware is the sleeper this year just because many people havent heard about him. So i understand people not really ranking him that high. But if he gets enough carries he will certainly be a top 3 back in the SEC in my opinion. The kid should have got a lot more carries last year than he did in my opinion. He showed a lot of his upside ability in the cotton bowl and in the spring game, only because miles finally started using him more late in the year. But we have a ton of backs to run out there and contribute right away thats its ridiculous. Thats not even counting russell shepard in the mix who i think should still gets some carries out of the back field. But I think it will all come down to how many carries he will get, but he will defiantly be the go to guy like ridley was last year for LSU.

Re: Ranking the SEC RB

Richardson is 1, w/ Lattimore 2. Richardson has been living behind a Heisman winner's spotlight for 2 years. While you have to respect what Lattimore was able to do at South Carolina last year, I have no doubt that Richardson could have done the same thing on that team getting 40 carries a game. I don't think less touches + less production = less talented. I just think that Richardson's production was limited b/c of Ingram.

And Dyer is not better than Richardson. Richardson also ran for 100+ and 2 TDs in the national championship as a freshman (against Texas' #1 rushing defense in the country at the time.)

Dyer and McCalebb will still be very effective post Cam. In Gus we trust.
