Program recruiting struggles

Are you guys seeing struggles recruiting with any of your teams?

I went undefeated for 4 seasons with KState. I am a 6 star prestige with them, and I get almost every recruit in the nation interested in me. Still, I struggle at closing deals against 5 star and some 4 star players. While almost recruit at least shows some interest in me, I always seem to lose out to other schools. My buddy is Washington, I have won every head to head game with him, he only has 1 bowl win, and he continuously beats me out for recruits.

In another dynasty I run with San Jose St, have got them to a 6 star prestige team, and have no problem closing on the top 4 and 5 stars, but I struggle with KSU, and I have never lost with them.

Any thoughts on this? When I recruit, I choose 10-12 recruits at one time and hit them up for 1 hour calls. Still, I struggle getting those recruits. With this method, I had a recruiting class of 7 players total last season, and he's pulling in 15-20 of same calibur guys with Washington. Yet I don't struggle at all recruiting against him with SJSU.

Well for starters, its because your playing a school in Kansas. You lack an abundant supply of quality in state recruits... You do not have the same issue with San Jose, because in California, you can recruit an entire championship team without ever signing an out of state recruit. Washington is close to California and has a pipeline there.. so they have better chance of landing them then KSU does.

Try just concentrating on recruits in your region, mainly Texas. You will have much better luck.
