New Mexico State is extremely difficult. You might think that having Texas and California pipeline are nice but it does not seem to help much.

Vandy. They are mediocre at best, and play a tough SEC schedule

Idaho. Zero in-state talent and you'll start off getting the bottom barrel scraps from your pipeline states. Should be a challenge. After that I would say eastern michigan.

It should be a bad school in a power conference. I'd think the gap between an IU and O$U would be bigger than like an EMU and a Northern Illinois.

Louisiana Tech. Any in-state talent gets sucked up by LSU and the nearby Texas schools. Terrible ratings in Academic Prestige and Campus Lifestyle, and probably the lowest Conference Prestige rating in the game. At least San Jose State has big ol' California to recruit in.

I was going to suggest them too, real life is even bleaker, there's not much in or around Idaho, and Boise State has the stranglehold on the state (how they built up the program is still amazing to me).

Tulane is another one, though their academic prestige is top notch. They're competing with SEC and Big XII (X), and a lot of people are always considering Big Ten (12) schools as well.
