just because you get pressure doesn't mean its a nano. lol. it's an overload blitz. simple blitz concept used to send more blitzers than the o line can block. madden 11 had only ONE TRUE nano. Which was A gap pressure sending only 3 or 4 players, but that was fixed in a patch later on in the year. but obviously the inside should be plugged up first. against a human opponent slide protect could fix that and force the pressure around the outside.

Re: First Ncaa 2012 Nano Blitz found

Like everyone said, it was just a beautiful blitz that included a miscue by the offensive lineman. Chances are in 11 that wouldn't of even happened, that alone shows suction is gone, otherwise that guy probably wouldn't of gotten free.

That's the whole point of blitzing and one managed to slip between two lineman that were too occupied with their blocks to collapse the hole and take on three lineman with their two blockers.

Re: First Ncaa 2012 Nano Blitz found

This is only a nano blitx, if and only if, the AI always shifts to pick of the ROLB. What I saw was the LG make a bad decision and let a lineman up the middle.

What should happen, if the Oline picks up the block correctly is the ROLB should come off the edge untouched, which is tha fault of the QB for not picking up the blitz.

Only problem I see (given what little depth perception the video gives us) is the Gurad should have picked up the defender who recorded the sack. From what I can see he is standing right in front of him, and then shifts over to get the DE who slides into the block(hard to tell with the low FPS).

In my opinion the ROLB or the DE should record the tackle. Just really bad blocking decisions, hopefully due to a low difficulty setting. We'll have to see if that is the norm.

The demo has All-American difficulty correct?(Did it last year?) If not I'll have to do user vs. user to get a real understanding of how the game looks.

Well you didn't really educate anyone. A nano blitz is more likely then not whenever a human moves a defensive tackle onto the inside shoulder of the center and then bringing a blitzing linebacker inside to pick up the guard giving another player a free run at the quarterback.

This was an outside blitz, a play run by every team.

It was a bad decision by the lineman.

He had to educate himself. He copy/pasted it from a comment on the YouTube page.
