Do you create your own recruits?

I always start of by making a few guys I played with/against in highschool to start with. Drew Moore (QB), Gatlin Barker (HB/WR), Justin Selby (TE), Bryant Combs (WR), and Anthony Frisby (HB/KR). Then once in my dynasty I usually create Jon Moxon, Lance Harbor, Boobie Miles, Wendall Brown, Julius Campbell ect. The last few years Ive created a recruit named Louis Saint-Pierre who was a complete stud at DE. Always wears number 6, he became such a staple with my friends hes kind of a folk-hero in his own rite.

normally only the positions ea neglects, Punters, kickers, And fullbacks.

not very often. though, i remember one time i took two random names of players at a certain position and made a recruit based off them combined. Tebow McCoy turned out to be a little too good once he became a senior lol

I use to create Deon Train...he would be a running back...I always made him have silver cornrows when u could pick the color of the hair....I did that a few years...reading this makes me want to bring him back

After reading this thread I've decided to start creating a few recruits every year. Ill be using an app on my phone that is much like random.com to randomize ratings, where the player is from, position, fav school and so on. Ill limit the overall to a range of 60-85 ish and once every 4 or 5 years ill raise the range to 90 in an attempt to maybe get one of those "once a decade guys"
I've got my first 5 ready for the next offseason,
80 overall FS
80 kicker
85 guard
75 te
81 Dt
Once again these are all random numbers, this years happened to be high rated, so hopefully in the next years they will be more spread out.

Ok, so I'm heading into my 2nd year of my online dynasty and I'm wanting to create 10 recruits to put onto the recruiting board. How do I go about doing this so that they're on the off-season recruiting board, or do I just have to wait until before next season. And then at what point do I have to create the recruits? Thanks
