Safe to say I can't stop the option like I could in previous years versions, Gtech absolutely torched me on the ground.

Re: NCAA 12 Retail Impressions (Gameplay - NO QUESTIONS/DISCUSSION)

Just had an incredible game on Heisman in Blacksburg on 8 min quarters.

Auburn (me) 21 Virginia Tech 20

I threw a 34 yard touchdown pass in the corner of the endzone with 17 seconds to go to win the game.

Of course...the friggin' game froze on me so I can't show you guys the highlights.

I will make some more comments though....

1. Anyone worried about the QB not making good decisions in the pocket should put those worries to rest. Va Tech's QB took off several times on me while under pressure, including a 34 yard touchdown on a QB scramble under pressure.

He also threw the ball away several times under pressure. I had video of both examples but the game froze.

2. David Wilson for VT went over 110 yards on 26 carries.

Onterrio McCalebb (adjusted to 97 speed with 99 acceleration and break tackle down to 60 so 83 OVR) scored on both a 96 yard kick return and a 72 yard power sweep out of Shotgun. Beautiful stuff.

3.Funny note....when I scored late to tie it at 20-20...the CPU called all 3 timeouts before I kicked my XP in an attempt to freeze me.

I can't say this enough....this game is a dream on Heisman. I haven't felt cheated one time and I've seen all manner of games.

Right now I'm using these adjustments....

Kick Accuracy at 40 for both HUM and CPU
QB Accuracy at 40 for both HUM and CPU
CPU Run Block at 40
INTs for both at 35
HUM Pass Rush at 60

That's it.

Really hate that the game froze because the vid of Va Tech's QB scrambling was very impressive. Great CPU QB logic this year. Kudos EA. Now just fix those god awful tiny numbers on Auburn's uniforms. lol

Gonna have to use sliders for shotgun teams possibly. I'm handling Oregon on the ground w/ Michigan...

Really ready to say the Pistol is ineffective. It's almost like it's too slow.

Re: NCAA 12 Retail Impressions (Gameplay - NO QUESTIONS/DISCUSSION)

Just took the Gamecocks to Boulder against the Buffs. Great game that got away from late in 41-24 loss.

Again huge plays by both teams including two more defensive TD's (that makes 7 in three games.)

Both teams ran the ball adequately and passed decently but Int's are a force. 4 for me and 3 for CPU. Turnovers are a big part of the games I have played. I am unsure if it is me or something we are all going to see.

Again a fun game!

I run the out of the Shotgun fine, I just posted videos of the CPU being able to do it to. 1 offensive scheme is busted, not all, or some, or most, 1. It shouldn't be, no, but I'd rather it be one than many like last year.

The pistol ? Ineffective? Nahhh. I run it very well, but it's not overpowered.

Re: NCAA 12 Retail Impressions (Gameplay - NO QUESTIONS/DISCUSSION)

The only negative thing I'll say about this game is that home field seems to be too much of an advantage. When you're at home your D-line just wreaks havoc on the other teams QB, while the home team QB gets significantly more time to scan the field. A little annoying, but this game is awesome aside from that.

Re: NCAA 12 Retail Impressions (Gameplay - NO QUESTIONS/DISCUSSION)

definitely found a Custom PB bug. Sometimes in online games, your plays/formations go completely missing.

EDIT : Fixed in patch.
