I had that happen in last years game, but I got lucky and the guy seemed to veer to sidelines and out of bounds...

Same thing happened to me last year (only once thank God). Except I had to "move" the pile to the side. I took me 10 minutes. Everytime I got the pile kind of close to the edge the ball would get kicked out of the pile-up back into play and everyone would run over to it and the whole process started over. I wouldv'e just quit the game but it was a really good game and it happened right at the end of regulation.
