I'm a Canadian, so I might be missing some American slang but...

I'm trying to create the Saskatchewan Huskies (Canadian college team) in teambuilder. And it works fine until I attempt to enter #48 LB Jordan Hilgers. It will not let me enter his name, saying it's profane. A little experimentation and it's his last name, Hilgers, which seems to be the problem. I renamed him Hill and it accepted that, but I just gotta know from you Americans (hopefully in a way that's forum friendly) what a 'Hilger' is? I've just never heard that term before.

It's just one of those things that get censored for some reason. The word itself isn't bad.

Do you really care where I sent this from?

This is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen...it happens for words that are not profanity nor have a succession of letters that spell a curse word...and why does EA care if I decide to name someone C*#k S*#ker

Probably because it ends in "ger". It seems they took a list of profane words, and if any piece of those shows up, the word is profane.

If you disconnect from online and name him, it should be fine. I would think it would be ok once you reconnect.
