Editing Players in OD?

I'm in a private one person online dynasty (obviously I'm the commish) and I went to edit a CPU controlled team and I got the message "Restricted: You can only edit players on your team." I've tried it in offline dynasty and I don't seem to have this problem. I thought the commish was supposed to be allowed to exit any roster in an OD? I also tried to look into the settings to see if there was a way I could change it. Anyone having this same problem or able to shed some light on this? Thanks!
