Do I need a online pass to keep rosters?

I had a 2 day online pass. I'm renting the game from blockbuster. It's the 3rd day and the roster I downloaded on the 1st day is gone. Do I really need a online pass to keep rosters I downloaded?

You shouldn't need to as far as I know. If so, just copy them to a drive.

Might be too late for that. I had 2 files. "Roster" and
"july138475" Loaded both of them and my rosters only had numbers for names. Sucks

Do you know of any way I can transfer my roster in Dynasty mode to outside of dynasty mode? If that makes sense Haha. Dynasty mode still has the roster I downloaded from the 1st day.

Many people, including myself, have had the problem of losing the rosters like you described. From what I've read, it stems from playing Road to Glory and/or having autosave turned on. You'll have to get online again and re-download the roster, then turn autosave off and maybe stay away from RTG mode.

That seems to be the problem then. I made like 3 RTG modes. Oh well. I have to return it tomorrow anyways.

Make sure to save the roster as soon as it downloads. Then, save your profile right after. That causes the roster to become "linked" with your profile. It will then auto-load after you exit any game mode. That means it won't auto-save an unnamed file on accident. It's okay to keep autosave on; in fact, it's recommended.
