Why are you focusing on these schools?: You do realize all the state schools like LSU, Georgia, etc. are funded by the taxpayer?
Acrually wait a second ALL colleges are funded by the taxpayer.

If you consider the students going there as taxpayers, sure, but private schools are not.

The military academies are 100% taxpayer funded. No one pays tuition at the military academies unless they quit and private citizens, to my knowledge, don't attend them. There are no other schools I know of except maybe the Coast Guard Academy that is in this situation.

Besides, in FCS Army, Navy and Air Force would clean house. They's pretty much pull in the same recruits.

MWC is better travel wise for Hawaii than the WAC. Flights from Louisiana to Hawaii aren't overly cheap.

And the WAC is basically no better, if not worse than, the Sun Belt now. And they're still short a team.

I wasn't talking about them. He says all schools are funded by taxpayers. Harvard, Yale, other private schools, no... I consider the academies, well, academies lol.

True Hawaii only will do that in football. The furthest they travel I believe will be to Wyoming if i'm not mistaken. and in all other sports it's only California schools. It will cut down.

Heck, they'd win championships there. Besides, in this economy a tax payer funded football team is one area that should be considered an excess. Stick Army and Navy in the Patriot League and Air Force in the Big Sky.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy and follow the academies and would still follow, I just think the above scenario of them going FCS makes more sense in regards to economics and talent level.
lmao comon Air Force would annihilate the Big Sky. And the rest of the FCS for that matter. They'd win championships for sure. They're no stranger to the top 25 of FBS.

I moved Rice, North Texas, and Wyoming into the WAC to bring them back up to 8 teams after Boise, Hawai'i, Fresno, and Nevada left.

Ok they are funded by tax payer money. If they move down, what happens? They are still funded by tax payer money.
