Re: Does EA Not Put Real Life Schedules in the Game?

One would surmise that EA could implement a correct schedule in one of these games; seems like a spreadsheet and some competent employees might be of use. I have a close friend that works in the video game market in Dallas TX, I call him every year at release so we can laugh at how bad these next gen NCAAs are, it really is becoming a joke. This game is in the gold stage? Really? What parts of it work correctly?

Re: Does EA Not Put Real Life Schedules in the Game?

Would it have maybe changed home and away because it likes to keep the schedule somewhat balanced? I've noticed this even on NCAA 10 and 11 when I would have the season schedule set with 7 home games and 4 away games. On my current NCAA 11 dynasty, I HAD UNC set to play Marshall at home, WKU at home, and Ohio St. at Ohio St., but when I went to look at my schedule in dynasty mode, it flipped the Marshall game, thus having me playing AT Marshall. Perhaps Marshall already had too many away games and the computer realized this so it switched it to a home game for them. Idk, Im just thinking out loud here...

Re: Does EA Not Put Real Life Schedules in the Game?

I'm okay with fake schedules. It's not a gamebreaker with me. But I'm pretty sure when I switched up the Big Ten divisions and removed the BCS bid from the Big East it did nothing to my schedules (at least with Purdue, I think), but that's because I didn't move any teams. My suggestion is don't move any teams until Year 2.

of course there is going to be made up schedules (especially for out-of conference games) after year one as the schdule for the 2012-13 season isn't out until the end of this season
