This was the first time I noticed any In Season progression probably because I just play and recruit and don't really mess with the depth chart except for the preseason

My Starting quarterback had a great game and the benchwarmer QB, who didn't play a down, got a +1 to his overall.

Probably added enough to his bench-warmer rating to affect the overall.

A.J. McCarron went from a 86 to an 89. At the time he had thrown 5 TDs and 12 ints through 8 games.

No EA didn't get this right because QB's seem to go up 2 to 5 points even when they aren't havng great seasons. This is why you have about 20+ QB's with 99 overalls about 6 years into your dynasty.
