CPU Red Shirting Players?

I was just curious to if cpu controlled teams actually red shirt players? I may be wrong but going through my dynasty I haven't noticed them red shirting incoming freshmen. Was wondering if anyone else is seeing this?

Yes, even at the service academies.

i believe if they dont ever play they will get a red shirt it was like this in the older versions

block is correct, the cpu doesnt mark players as redshirted but if they dont see the field all season they will automatically be redshirted for the next season

It's so unfortunate when the CPU redshirts a really good #1 in the nation recruit and then the recruit doesn't transfer or play the next year.

I'm pretty sure that the CPU doesn't ever intentionally redshirt players. Their redshirts are just a result of their players not recording any stats throughout the season. Pretty stupid imo... just another advantage given to the human player...
