ok it says on the box that it has 1080p hd output but the highest i can get it in is 720p hd. anyone else have this problem.

no i play blue ray on my ps3 in 1080p and the start up screen on the ps3 is in 1080p only the game goes to 720p

You have to uncheck the 720p box on your PS3's display settings if you want to force 1080p.
