Dynasty trends

Ive played 4 dyansties at least 4 years now (short attention span) and I'm starting to notice some definite trends. I'm what others have noticed.

- C-USA teams (other than houston and ucf) are always terrible
- any team moved to independent will be terrible and struggle to maintain a winning record
- sec almost never produces an undefeated team
- utah runs the pac-12
- mwc gets bcs bids fairly easily
- alabama always preseason no. 1, always finish around 10-3
- duke becomes good after the first season (??????????????)
- michigan has a tough top breaking the top 25 no matter what record
- notre dame continues to blow

Hmmm....

In mine Notre Dame just won the National Championship and was in it the season before.
Utah goes to crap....the Pac 12 south belongs to USC and UCLA
Duke still sucks.

The rest seem pretty spot on though.

All of these have proved true except Notre Dame, as they won the National Championship in 2012 (this upcoming year). They've struggled as of late though.

Re: Dynasty trends

Really? Duke has been in a complete stud in 3 of my dynasties and a consistent bowl team in the other. In my clemson dynasty they own the ACC. I'm now in the 4th year and it could be the year they win the national championship atm they are 8-0 ranked #4.

In my dynasty Duke almost went undefeated in 2012 only to start 2013 at 0-4.

Re: Dynasty trends

I'm in year 11 in my offline dynasty.
- ND and LSU continue to bring in top 25 recruiting classes but hasn't produced a double digit winning season
- Pac-12 has three stacked teams in Oregon, USC, and Stanford with a different team winning that conference each year it seems.
- I moved Boise to the Pac-12 after they won 2 NC's...took care of that problem lol
- Duke is moving between the Big East or the ACC...their rated 87 with 4 stars
- I moved the Sooners to the SEC since they swept their conference three years straight and set them up to play Bama each year. Bama is 3-0 so far lol, needless to say Bama has remained the 500 lb gorilla each year
- Texas has dropped to 2 stars and fired Mack Brown, June Jones also got canned from SMU
- USF is actually the highest rated team in Florida with a 94 avg and a contender for the ACC title each year now
