i ended up recruiting a 5* stud that same year, so after becoming an all american, he was benched the following year and cut off the team his junior year. only time i ever felt bad about cutting a player.
That's cold, man! Move someone around, let him play!

If they aren't bumped up then they will most likely be left off of the draft class. Sure, you can edit it yourself but that just feels like cheating to me.

I agree in some degree however if his rating isnt good enough he will not be listed in the draft class. Therefore right before the end of the Jr. or Sr. season just edit is attributes and see him in Madden

One thing that hasn't been discussed: OVR ratings also contribute to how the game ranks you in preseason polls - a bigger issue than one might think when you consider how preseason polls often times keep teams from being able to play in the NCG if they begin unranked.

College and pro is a different animal alltogether. You can fit perfectly in a college system, set records and win prestigious trophies and never sniff the NFL. Just go back through the many trophies winners for evidence.

I think a lot of them get to the NFL, but just aren't successful. Winning awards at the FBS level is going to get you drafted or at least signed as UDFA more times than not.
