I love this game, but i never quite understood why EA would allow Lamichael...

Lamichael James to have dreads, am i missing something here? I doubt he grew so much hair in a short amount of time, this isn't a rant or anything i'm just wondering..

Who is this LaMichael James you say? The only guy I know that's an All-American Running Back at Oregon is HB #21, and he's got dreads IRL.

Like the other guy sort of mentioned. EA is in a lawsuit for player likeness. That's why oregon RB isn't a replica of his real life counterpart.

Maybe it should the NCAA that's at faught for these likeness issues, not EA? The NCAA gave them the legal means to create a game using teams so it probably just developers being lazy by not paying attention to what are they are doing. Why go halfway in creating a game that you have been given the ok to create then miss little stuff like dreads. Why get the height and weight correct then? I just believe it's laziness on EA part by not utilizing the resources they have been given to create a realistic game.

Because anyone can be 5'9" and 185 lbs. But when that 5'9" 185 lbs player happens to be a black HB for Oregon who wears #21 and has the same facial features, then yes, it certainly appears to be made in LaMichael James likeness.

As far as I've seen, the only similarity in facial features between EA players and NCAA Athletes is two eyes, a nose, and a mouth. If you can show me any player in NCAA 12 that looks exactly like an NCAA athlete, then I'll withdraw this comment.
