EA should look deep within my ignore list, there they will find the football game developer professional that needs no introduction, and has all the answers to every question.

it is there they will find the guru who can do no wrong.

I read the ad and I think this line says it all:

"Originality and creativity are valued, but a thorough knowledge of a game’s target audience and market is equally if not more important."

This captures what is wrong with the game industry in one line.

You can take out the word "games" and that statement can be applied to any job anywhere. Marketing is a key part of every facet of every industry.

That quote is so true about the video game industry.
