Custom roster problem

When I first bought this game I edited FSU's roster so that Player Names, Heights, and Weights were correct. This also included editing out Taiwan Easterling (WR#8 SR) who left for the MLB and replacing him with a younger receiver. This saved as a roster file and since then that has been the standard roster for FSU in play now mode or under team management -> depth chart. It even displayed the FSU player names in online ranked matches (obviously without any other edits). All of a sudden it stopped showing up. In play now or team management or online there are no names. However WR#8 has now been edited to a SO and it seems like player ratings have changed from the initial roster that came with the game however I could be mistaken about the ratings..haven't looked at them since I edited the roster in July. The only thing I've changed is starting a new RTG today, could that have done it or has EA changed something?
