When you have a decent team to begin with, tht works well, but starting with a Div. 1-AA team, getting jucois can help fill weaker spots quicker. Once I have a few winning seasons, I'll shoot for more freshman, but right now, I need talent quick.

Which is how it really works in real life, which I like.

And I've overlooked the JUCO thing several times myself, so I'm pretty sure that's what happened.
