If sliders actually worked then most of our problems would go away.

The way they have sliders set up now are nice except for the fact they they don't even work. I would like to see position specific sliders so that could help things like DE rush. I have no idea why sliders are even in the game, whether it's the gameplay sliders or penalty sliders, they just don't work.

I have a feeling if they actually worked then some of the main problems some we have had this gen could be fixed easily.

Couple of thoughts on your post and sliders in general:

1. Some sliders work and some don't. Pass accuracy had little to no effect in '12. Int., RBA, had a massive effect to gameplay. Others had a medium effect like pass block, pass rush, etc. Anyone who tweaks sliders knows which sliders have more power than others. Saying that no sliders work is a hyperbole. I do agree that some work far better than others.

2. Penalty sliders are basically broken other than holding, offside, facemask, clipping, and a few others. This is a legacy issue on this-gen; I have seen PI called 4-5 times last year. EA needs to revamp the penalty system, and the penalty animations that should trigger.

3. I am a huge fan an expanded slider set. Fumble, agility, and position specific sliders are top three for me. Also, a tendency slider would be welcomed. NCAA is behind many other sports games when it comes to sliders. Even, FIFA added better sliders this year.
