If you are the coordinator at a school and the head coach leaves you are possible to get the "interim head coaching job for the year" like a one year contract. Then the school reconvenes at the end of year and decides to keep you or get a new head coach.

Kinda late but a possible addition for next year.

I like it. It would also be cool if a hc could be fired mid-season and then your coordinator got the interim gig just for the rest of that season

Head coaches still cannot be fired mid year correct? Unless they changed that this idea cannot be implemented, as I understand it.

To get something like this to work the coaching carousel would have to be reworked. Hopefully they will continue to work on and better this system but I'm not holding my breathe given EA's history of implementing and never developing features.

That would be a really cool addition! Imagine if a user got fired, and the rest of the season was simmed. That's the harsh reality of coaching.
