I won't play a single game until at least 1 week after I get the game. Am I alone? I usually practice for 3-4 hours each night and then see what works different than the year before. 2 years ago, HB Off Tackle worked well, then in 12, HB Stretch worked amazing. My record in 12 was 23-3. It helps to practice in the beginning and find your team and playbook.

Does anyone else do this?

I just do something like offline dynasty day 1 to get the hang of things.

Yeah pretty much this. Heck, I might run through a season or two till rosters drop.
