Must Have's in NCAA13 - Changes

I hope this thread can become the definitive thread for all of the essential, must-have changes from NCAA12 to NCAA13.

I will list the needed changes and their status, as those changes become available. Please submit your own "musts" to be added to the game. The list will be relatively small as this is not a wish list. It is simply the things that could possibly be in the game that we do not have confirmation on as of yet.

Fix catching. I still don't understand why they thought it was right for the WR to drop a pass every time contact is made. That is just pure BS.

When the CPU makes an interception....it seems like they automatically get 15+ yards before being brought down. The WR will try to tackle and he just bounces off like a pin ball.

I'd love to see these changes in gameplay.

You know the game is made right? It's complete already. Virtually no changes can be made at this point. Maybe these can be added from '13 to '14, but certainly not this year.

Neutral Site Games with REAL stadiums will never happen. Generic made stadiums for neutral sites maybe, but not anything like the superdome...
You need fat licenses for that... not gonna happen.

They already have the licenses for that. The Superdome is used for the Sugar Bowl already, so that'd be do-able.

I don't understand why they wouldn't happen? Most of the neutral site stadiums that get games like that are already in the game. The Superdome, Cowboys Stadium, etc. Even if they can't add more, the ability to schedule a neutral site game regardless of location should be in the game.

If I want to play Nebraska vs. Southern Miss at the Superdome, I should be able to (and that will be happening in 2013 most likely).

Re: Must Have's in NCAA13 - Changes

Some in game things I think need to be looked at:

Addition of the shield punt formation-this formation has been used for at least 5 years now and needs to be added to the game. Also need more types of fake punts and field goals. Rugby style punts have become quite common; perhaps you can hold the punt button until you want to actually punt the ball.

Addition of several plays-LSU's inside zone toss play, need some reverse plays (none for several years), double reverses, reverse passes, double passes. There also needs to be either plays or the option to motion more than one player before the snap (ala texas, iowa, etc.) Definately needs the addition of a veer play out of the shotgun since every spread option team uses it. More offset plays/formations out of shotgun.

Like many have said, punts MUST bounce in different directions other than straight into the endzone.

One of the audibles, preferably the right stick down, should be a quick hitch route. Maybe there could be different audibles for inside and outside recievers, such as giving inside recievers a corner route for an audible.

CPU running-CPU runners need to run AWAY from the user, instead of through the user, especially speed backs. Power backs still try to avoid defenders when possible, nobody goes out of their way to target defenders. I should have to chase down the runningback, as the cpu does to myself.

Penalties-Defenders should be grabbing and interfering with recievers. Late hits out of bounds should be called.

Gameplanning-You should only want to use aggresive and conservative during key moments during the game. You should never want to use aggresive strip ball because of either a greater chance of a facemask (like ncaa 10 and I believe 11) and missed tackles; likewise, you shouldn't want to use conservative running unless you need to protect the ball since you won't be able to break tackles, should automatically cover up the ball, and run slower. Aggresive Interceptions should lead to more interceptions but a high chance in getting a defensive penalty, while conservative interceptions should lead to NO ints, but safer play on the ball. Aggresive/conservative tackling and catching are somewhat unrealistic, since coaches never say go for the big hit and don't wrap up and it's okay to miss the tackle, or say you don't have to catch the ball sometimes if you make a big play one time. Those along with get open, jump the snap, and blocking should just be tied into ratings and be removed. Conservative/tight zones are adjustments coaches make, so they can stay. Like basketball games, I think they should add matchups for wide recievers as well as playing one receiver tight or staying back in man.

Just things I noticed when playing the game to make it feel like a real football game

So you're hoping this thread will become the "definitive" wishlist thread, something there's an entire forum devoted to? Kind of a slight to all the people who post in the correct place, don't you think?
