I'd use this play. It's one I came up with and ever since it's been my go-to play. One of the three guys is wide open everytime due to the cross routes and at least one guy is usually covered by a LB. The outside and inside guy run crossing slants while the middle guy runs a curl.

Wildcat Spread from the Oregon playbook. PA Jet Sweep, and just hold X to hand it off to the HB. If the defense is bringing a blitz (and it usually is when in this formation), it's pretty much a guaranteed TD. Otherwise it'll at least get you a first down.

Re: IF YOU HAD ONE PLAY

Need a score from the 10 yard line on one play? I'm running one of two things:

- Shotgun Spread Flex Shallow Cross with my outside WR's hot routed to Curls.

OR

- Shotgun Y Trips Curl Flats with the TE hot routed to a slant and the solo WR hot routed to an OUT. That gives me Curl/Post/Slant to one side and out to the other. Someone will be open. Guarantee.

Curl flats from a 3x1 set has been my traditional favorite for gotta have it situations for a while. If it is 3rd or 4th and short, I'll keep the curl/flat combo and it is easy money. If I have a longer to go situation, I'll hot route the inside slot/TE to a slant.

Easy money.

Hmmm, this looks very promising when run to the wide side of the field. You could even switch up the curl with a streak from time to time. That'd be a Cover 2 and Cover 3 beater for sure.
