Really dissappointed in the freezes...wow

anyone figure out a work around for the game crashing when you try to load the recruit screen?

it occurred when I ran it from the disc and its occurred after I installed it to the drive. I keep it laying flat on some risers so it gets air underneath.

Set it upright. Make sure you are not logged into EA servers when playing. See if that works.

Most of the time people thing the game is frozen because of the game. It is usually the persons system. My friend had the freezing issue with his game. We swapped games and sure enough his game kept freezing up and mine did not. We switched discs back to our originals and again his continued to freeze. Might just be your systems that need to be replaced. Not the game.

Mine froze as soon as I put it in. But since then everything has been ok.

I have a PS3 and have the same issue. I have played the same game three times. I play The Show constantly and it never freezes. It isn't the disc, it isn't the internet connection, it is the game.

I agree. It needs to be fixed. My RTG also froze in the menu screen.

still froze. I do not believe it is the system, I can play 2012 for hours on end with no issues. Last night I went back and played 2012 when I couldnt play 2013 and had no issues. I fail to believe that the system is to blame here.

Figured I'd pass this along. Someone in the bugs and glitches thread recommended to those whose game is freezing in the loading screen of a dynasty game to set the controller to the middle (aka CPU vs CPU) and then once it loads to set it back to the user-controlled team.

This has worked for me!
