As some others have said, Pitt is a good option for this. Unfortunately, their uniforms aren't great in my estimation and they have no customized intro.

Pitt does, however, claim 9 national titles (according to NCAA they only have 5) with the last coming in 1976. They do have a home pro combat uniform from the 2010 season. In addition, they'll be moving to the ACC's coastal division in 2013 so you essentially get one year of a Big East schedule and then move to the ACC.

I used to love playing with Colorado. I really like their uniforms and overall style. I think Minnesota is also an excellent choice. Maryland has a million uniform combinations this year so that may be cool for you.

Minnesota would be a good pick. SMU in the big12 would be fun. Syracuse has tradition and has fallen on hard times. Too bad you couldn't create them a man's stadium outdoors.

Wow. A lot of responses here. Awesome stuff. I went with Minnessota. Played two games did all the recruiting and what not. And of course the next day the OS Rosters come out. Not sure I'm gonna stick with Minnessota now. Tennessee a good choice but starting out 4 stars just seems a little high for me. Too easy of a rebuild IMO. Cuse would be cool ( I am a new Yorker ) but I need me some weather. Was considering UCLA until I read someone mention the name Troy Aikman ( Die hard NYG fan ). Tennessee is 4 stars but it is the SEC. Hmmmm. Decisions decisions

Re: Looking for a team high in tradition who have fallen on hard times

Washington State had some good years in the late 90's. They did play in and win the first ever complete Rose Bowl game. They've produced some noteworthy players throughout the years... Drew Bledsoe, Chad Eaton, Jason Hanson, Rian Lindell, Rueben Mayes, Timm Rosenbach, Mark Rypien, Jack Thompson, Marcus Trufant and some guy named Leaf.

They're a 1* program in the Pac12. Talkin about being the runt of the litter. Have some good tools to work with this year with Tuel at QB, OLB Travis Long has been named to the preseason watch list for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and WR Marquess Wilson has been named to the preseason watch list for the Maxwell Award. Here's hoping NCAA13 has the stats to match.
