Has anyone actually been fired from a job? I think TCU might fire me.

Just wondering how possible it is to actually get fired from a job. I'm using TCU in an online dynasty with a friend and we went from number 5 overall to losing our next three games. Two of those loses were in OT and are ranked 1 and 2 in my ESPN best games rankings.

Last night we were down to #21 and lost to Oklahoma State who was ranked #24. We have not advanced but I'm thinking I'll possible be out of the top 25 now.

It would really suck to get fired. I am really attached to this team and my recruiting class now.

So has anyone been fired? Share your story...

iirc, you could get fired in previous years. i think it takes at least a couple of bad seasons to get fired tho.

I hope you are right. I think given another season I could turn this team around. I have just had a few bad bounces of the ball.

My brother got fired from Mizzou last year, mainly because we had guys playing with UGA, Tamu, and UT. so he lost all of those games, but some against computer.

He went to North Texas and dominated. Ended up taking them to a 5 star school after a few years

You can most certainly be fired if you have coach contracts on. Theres more to the contracts than just losing, so you may want to check your job security (normally anywhere below 50% means you are on the hot seat).

I'm not positive, but I don't think they can fire you in the middle of a contract.

If you took North Texas to 5 stars then you are the man. They are BAD and almost always have been.

Not true.

I recruited 25 excellent recruits for a one star team and was excited to play year two and I got fired after year one because I didn't meet goals.

Some of the goals I didn't meet:
-Have all needed positions recruited before the season ends
---I had them all filled, but they didn't recognize an athlete was going to fill a position
-Win all games against rivals
----didn't have a rival, lol

I was fired after year one of a three year deal.
