Re: What's the highest rated recruit you've had?

So far in my USC dynasty, I've recruited an 85 overall punter, Thomas Lester.

Hate to see a rating that high for a punter though! Wish it was at a skill position. Oh well.

As for me, my highest recruits I've had in NCAA 13 are an 86 G, an 84 G (in the same draft class as the 86 G I should add. My OL will be dominant for years to come) and an 84 TE. It seems like all the skill players on offense all seem to top out around 80 max for me.

Not the highest rated recruit but I did have an athlete come in at an 80 at QB, RB, WR and a 78 FS. I think I'll use him at QB since his speed is 87. Not too fast for a RB at Texas or WR. He'll make more of an impact at QB but he's a good two years away from starting as long as my starting QB at the moment doesn't leave early. I stopped playing right before the season started so can anyone help me out on this: If I make him a QB, does he still maintain his 80 rating at RB and WR, or 78 at FS? I think he could get some reps as a WR before he could at QB and if that could work without his ratings dropping off, that would be great to have such a multi-dimensional player being maximized for his talents.
Haha, unfortunately he signed with USC and not Arkansas State. I'll update his stats in this thread, I'm sure he'll start as a freshman because Barkley is leaving.

I too had a multidimensional athlete that is a 79 QB and 76 RB 77 WR and 78 CB. He is actually my second string quarterback and 4th string corner (this is in my Iowa dynasty). Also, I picked up an 79(+11) ATH. He is 6'5 234 with 90 speed and 92 acceleration, mid-80s catching skills so I figured he'd be a TE. He is rated a 73 as a TE and 79 as a WR, but I moved him to TE anyway. That type of size just doesn't make sense for a WR, IMO.

My highest is 84 DE. 4* gem. I have south Carolina in a OD & right off the bat they have a 90 ovr true freshman LT. Found that kind of amazing that a 4* prospect from last year is a 90 overall from EA

Re: What's the highest rated recruit you've had?

I forgot to update this. Here are his career stats. Keep in mind this is a player on a CPU controlled team, in dynasty. I think USC was played by human opponents 8 times.

Carter Brooks
226.4 QB rating, 929/1189 15417 yards 167 TDs 9 INTs. 257.3 YPG, 68% completion, 17.6 yards per completion, Long of 81, Sacked 38 times
723 rushes, 4250 yards. 5.8 YPC, 78 TDs, Long of 81, 75.8 YPG, 1168 after first contact, 114 broken tackles, 11 fumbles
3 catches, 115 yards, 2 TDs, 38.3 YPC, long of 62, 29 YAC, 0 drops
1 forced fumble
4 Maxwells
4 O'Brians
4 Camps
4 Heismans
54-2 record, started all 56 games. 4 national championships.
Heisman difficulty, 7min quarters, injuries and fatigue on.

He was completely unfair to play against. Total cheese

Re: What's the highest rated recruit you've had?

My highest was an 82 Free Safety so far..

I just recruited an interesting player though. He was an ATH, 5'11, 206. I thought he was going to be a RB with his 79 catch, 85 speed, 90 accel, 79 broken tackles..so when I went to change his position to HB I passed QB and his rating was 79? I checked, and he had 85 accuracy and 80 power. The kid can literally play everything haha. He is rated as a 79 at QB/HB and 75 at WR. Unique weapon I think.

Re: What's the highest rated recruit you've had?

I have one of those guys, too. My quarterback was also 79, and awesome at every non-line position. I put him as my quarterback and my dime back on defense.

One game I threw a big pick with him. I got real pissed and trotted him out there in Dime for three plays and controlled him. He was pissed at throwing the pick, so he wanted in there. He was pumping up the crowd and getting hyped. Play 1, TFL on a run. Play 2 made tackle after short gain on the ground. Play 3 sack. After the punt, he threw a touchdown. That was pretty boss.
