Watch the Michigan Bama game to open the season and you will see how to stop him

The Big Ten is like weed. It's popular and gets smoked by SEC players in bowls

It doesn't help that Michigan's running back isn't human so I'm too busy worrying about the screen/draw or any quick pass to him if I try to blitz.
One does not simply stop Denardo Robinson. They Contain him.

Re: How do you stop the Michigan QB?

Easy. Make him pass because he can't. Everyone points out the yardage and TD's he throws for but no one mentions the fact he's near the top in the Big Ten in interceptions every year and near the bottom in completion percentage. The only thing he's good at is running around until the coverage breaks down and then throwing it as far as he can while one of his receivers runs underneath it. Case and point: the Under the Lights game against Notre Dame. When he plays against any decent defense, he struggles. The way to stop him from running is make both defensive ends contain and have a linebacker spy. That's what MSU does and in three years (two as a starter) against him, he's completed 49% of his passes with twice as many interceptions as touchdowns and is averaging under 3 yards per rushing attempt.
