Seriously....I can't change the passing icons buttons this year???

It keeps saying they're locked, what am I doing wrong?

P.S.
I always hated having X for snap the ball, and X for a receiver being the same button...I always would pass the ball to X as soon I snapped it, so changing them around was just easier than practicing not to match X down too much.

Don't think you're doing anything wrong. EA decided that the user having options is bad. You have to use their buttons.

guess you'll have to buy the special controller that reassigns buttons.

That's not neccessarily going to help. The icons on screen are still going to be the same, so he would have to learn to correspond the icons on screen to a completely different button on his controller.

I'd reccomend just learning the control layout as is. Would probably be much easier.

There's really such a thing? I need a new controller anyways...And I never pay attention to the passing icons on the screen, although I probably should.
