Tips for Defending Teams w/ Speedy QBs?

Just took a beating from my buddy who was Michigan, b/c I had no answer for Robinson. Whenever I would put a spy on him, he'd have all day to pick me apart. Any tips/schemes on how to defend offenses with scrambling QBs? Thanks in advance.

In my experience d line contain doesn't work unless you manually spy. If you don't they just scramble up the middle. But yeah. Taking a lb who is supposed to blitz or a safety in cover 2 man and manually spying is your best bet IMO

@OP, QB's with speed are suppoise to be hard to guard but the tips he just said are spot on with what you have to do to.

I'll typically run a cover 2 zone with blitz and spy my fastest lineman or linebacker ... just varies on what I think is coming ... also, I will change it up and bring a single or double corner blitz to keep him inside bcz most times guys will try to go outside and run up the field ... but I am guesisng your friend just runs fly routes and if you are in man, your team is then heading way down field

Also, adjust your def settings to aggressive qb contain and that should help them play the run a lil bit quicker than normal

I have Michigan in an online dynasty and all you need to do is learn to stop the run ... Denard cant pass all that well so play the run and make him pass ... you accomplish that and you should be successful
