Re: 4-Year Progression Numbers Breakdown

Ok, guys I have added the progression idea to the app.

Sample of what the first season threw at me. I just got lucky that it was three freshman that got the points given to them.

Re: 4-Year Progression Numbers Breakdown

I just added a second tab to the sheet to show single year average improvements. The key takeaway here is there appears to be no difference in the improvement from year to year. They are all the same.

In other words, a freshman has the same improvement as a junior. And redshirt or playing doesn't make a difference either.

Does anyone know the average weight gain over a career? Just off had I would say 10-12 pounds. I will recruit a guy a little under weight and let him grow into his position.

Unfortunately, the export files don't contain that information. However, from what I've read elsewhere on these forums, weight is meaningless. There is no player mass or inertia.

There's a video out there somewhere that shows someone made a high rated 5'7, 160 pound-ish left tackle and he was a beast.

Edit: Found the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...hOaHe_A#t=150s

Re: 4-Year Progression Numbers Breakdown

Quick update - I simmed through two seasons, so now we have data from 11,628 player progressions to look at.

I like the idea of randomly upgrading downgrading a few players. Can this be done on an offline dynasty or only online?

Easily can be done for online, offline would require the user to do a lot of the cross referencing to the chart. Ill see what I can work up for you offline guys. I can promise it will not be a stream lined as the OD app but will get the job done.

Uploaded v4.04

This update added the ability to use the Player Progression/Regression offline.
Also special thanks to goalkeepr and the people in this 4-Year Progression Numbers Breakdown for bringing the great idea for this module to the community.
