Real 2012-2013 Season Dynasty Team Rankings

I did a dynasty where I would save for the week and then manually sim every CPU game to see the outcome. I then marked down the games that had the wrong outcome and played them as close to how they actually happened as I could each week. I am at week 14 (week before Conference Championship games) and this is the Top 25 Breakdown.

I basically wanted to test the bowl/standings logic of EA as it compares to real life.

Interesting notes: Alabama dropped to 8th after losing to Texas A&M and has struggled to climb since. Both FSU & Clemson were highly ranked all year (Clemson 4th before losing to S Carolina). Texas A&M hardly moved up after beating Bama. Oregon St. & Northern Illinois struggled to move up in the top 25 and fell dramatically after losing.

Another interesting thing is that Florida is projected to play in the BCS vs Notre Dame and i doubt that will change when Bama beats UGA in the SECCG. Other than that most championship games and bowl projections look the same except the B10 which has Nebraska vs Ohio State instead of Wisconsin. Georgia is also favored to play in the Sugar bowl over Alabama for some reason.

What I found to be really cool is that Johnny Manziel won the Heisman!

I found this quite interesting. Unfortunately, Ohio State screws things up even with the couple of losses that you gave them. That is impressive that Johnny Ftball still won the heisman. Did you have his ratings bumped up to match his true abilities, or was his ratings closer to early in the season?

TCU's ranking stood out to me to be #19 at 7-4. I do not remember where they were actually at, but I don't think they were ranked at that point in the season.
