Teams won't use custom playbooks in CPU vs CPU games

I edited playbooks for Oregon and Oregon St. and took out the speed option and four verts in both playbooks. I assigned the new playbooks to the three coaches on each team in Edit Coaches. Then in the Play Now set up screen I choose the playbooks for each team before I move the controller to the middle to initiate a CPU game. Problem is I am still noticing Oregon running that annoying speed option from multiple formations after I took the time to take that play out of every formation for each team. What am I doing wrong?

Are you still on PS3?
The work-around would be to start the game as controlling a team with the custom playbook, then moving back to CPU vs CPU once the game starts.
Side note: I found in the editor that there is a seperate tab for teams, and they have a playbook coded to them. I haven't fully tested it, but I think this is where I could input a custom PB to save as default.

Yes Ed I'm on PS3 and I figured out just as you said. I used two controllers and switched them back to the middle before kickoff. Thanks man. No more speed option from the shotgun and no more 4 verts. I'm happy now lol
