I voted 13. Haven't put this much time into an NCAA game before.

NCAA 09 was the best for me! the dynasty headquarters was way better than the current dynasty central. i liked that player card view of all the users in your dynasty with ablility to see when they last logged in, how much recruiting hrs they spent, who their opp was and the score, you could even leave a short comment/message, etc. those things are important for a commish trying to see who the slackers are. its a whole lot better than just a green dot to tell whose ready or not. it also had voice chat while your in the dynasty menu which i cant believe they took out for ncaa 13! the best feature though was the ablility to save an online dynasty for offline use. this saved my dynasty so many times with all the glitches and bugs, if something were to happen at least i could restart from the point i last saved. thats the main feature i wished ea would bring back for ncaa 14 but i doubt it.

Re: Which version was your favorite this gen

It's good to see NCAA 11 is 2nd because I've been playing that game on and off for the past few months

I picked it up back in the summer for real cheap after I wasn't happy with my NCAA 13 rental.

Came accross playmakers old school college rosters for NCAA 11 with Desmond Howard on it and I've had a blast with the game every since.

It's not great but it plays enough solid football to hold me over.

Re: Which version was your favorite this gen

I went with 08. Madden 08 as well. Those were the last versions that utilized the older PS2 engines where you could really feel the impact and weight of the players. The running animations were juuust about to cross that threshold into that stiff robotic feel that we have today but that was cancelled out with the weight/slash momentum of the old engine being present so I kind of overlooked the running animations.

Matter of fact, I just retrograded today and bought both Madden and NCAA 08 as I remember loving both titles. Popped em in and it actually wasn't rose tinted glasses. They're both good titles with more in common with the PS2 days than what we have now. If I can get Xans editor to work with the 08 versions I'll be in heaven. Still looking forward to the 14 versions of both titles though. Cant wait!
