Oklahoma State finished tied for 3rd in the conference, yet played in the #8 bowl with a Big XII tie-in. We're seeded lower than TCU, Texas Tech, Baylor, and West Virginia despite finishing with more conference wins, an equal/better overall record, placing ahead of them in the standings, and having beat 3 of the 4 in head-to-head matchups. But I also understand that you have to start somewhere and that could end up being a great deal of research for 68 teams.

Yeah we looked into different ways of getting the teams down, we just seemed to agree on ranking each bowl game on a 1-35 scale and eliminating the worst two teams. We thought about going by standings but how do you differentiate between all the 6-6, 7-5, 8-4 teams.

**UPDATE** we have completed all the research needed for the "Paper" bracket, which we will start most likely tomorrow (Jan 16) with the play-in rounds. Simulation bracket is still being pieced together, just looking for sliders we agree on.

Day one is officially wrapped up. We did 20 games in our stats bracket and will finish the 16 remaining first round games tomorrow.
