I think that it will make the jump, if they come out and make generic rosters, and people are still able to edit and share the rosters, I feel that the community will make the game into a realistic roster just like people are already naming the rosters and sharing them

Even if they remove roster sharing we could do it like it did in the past. Just would have to re sign them in Horizon or something like it for the next gen console

If it survives the lawsuit, it will make the jump.

Even if they lose this round of the lawsuit, there will be a appeal, then another, then another. If this goes any farther, watch the NCAA bring out the big guns. Between the money of the NCAA and EA, they can outspend just about anyone.

The NCAA has already brought out the big guns, an antitrust case hits for triple damages. And this is already in federal district court, there's only two possible appeals - to the 9th Circuit (guaranteed) which will likely go straight to en banc review, and then to the SCOTUS, which doesn't actually have to take the case.

So yeah, this could be litigated for a long while but its possible EA and the NCAA try to settle out early and cut their losses.
