Names on Jerseys...Did I miss Something

Just played the demo. They had names on jerseys and featured different plays by their names, not just RB#28. When did this happen??

Probably five or six years ago. You've had the option to play with numbers or randomly generate names for players for a long time now.

1st year they've given us names from the start rather than having to make the cpu generate names. I feel like they did this to show that these guys aren't based on real players (yeah right) so rather than QB #2 they give the guy a name to make it seem like it isn't supposed to be Manziel.

Yeah, but you can always download a user roster featuring the real ones.

What are you talking about!? They never based their players on real life ones.

Yeah and they change every time you boot up the game (because there are no roster saves for the demo and thus each time you boot it up they auto-name everyone).
