I don't see the problem. A guy running air raid knows where his receivers are going to run, why shouldn't an option guy know who his line is gonna block?

Anyone in a sim dynasty will already know who the read man is so it going away when u snap should be good enough

If you watch the defense shift around pre-snap in the play art, you'll see that the read man changes based on on the shifts in the D. It's not always intuitive to know which guy the OL is going to release.

I just find it distracting. On certain formations, i know who the read man is. I do find it helpful against a 1-5-5 and until I learn how to read the veer option plays. After that, i want to disable it.

Anyone know if it stays on or even shows up during head to head matches on the same system? If it does it needs to have an option to shut it off. This is an immediate indicator to which side the option is going and gives the D an unfair advantage.
