Well, I guess that's just a difference in opinion. I feel like that, and then not using it on the option/shovel plays is when you notice that they seem to "jog", which helps give you extra time to read the play.

I had the same feeling. I would be using speed freaks like De'Anthony Thomas and didn't know if I was using it correctly.

Wait what is this speed burst (acceleration) you speak of? It feels the same as last year. And I play run heavy and wait for a hole hit the R2 if that's the right button and nothin feels different.

I don't see much of a difference when I accelerate, but I definitely DO see a difference. I think some people are expecting this dramatic increase in speed when they accelerate, but the feature wasn't supposed to be like that. The way I see it, when I accelerate though a hole or out in space I'm going from like 80-85% to 100%. That's not going to be too noticeable but it's a big enough and, in my mind, realistic change to get around the corner or through a hole.

Its working as intended, it just gives you a burst to get up to max speed faster. I use it to hit the hole fast on cutbacks and to get to the outside. Works like a champ.
