Bad coverage by User Defenses

I have been noticing a lot of open CPU receivers throughout my games, leading to high completion percentages for CPU QBs. So after every completion, I have been going to instant replay to look at why that WR or TE was so open. As it turns out, the defender on my team usually has the worst reaction time in the world. On every single out-route or post/flag, the defender cuts a full second or more after the WR/TE. Sometimes, as shown below, the defender doesn't react initially, and when they finally do, they take an odd angle to the WR/TE.

This is an extreme example, but here's one I encountered: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dW0O9MYg_2Q

I will post one of a standard out-route or such when I remember to record it. I don't think sliders should have to be adjusted to fix this. I understand that you can't have perfect coverage on every play by every player, but when guys are open because this happens on every passing play, I become concerned.
