Heisman Trophy Snub...

I hear tons of people claiming about this years NCAA 14 so far.. So far I've completely enjoyed the game overall. I just finished my first since on Heisman using SEC's heisman sliders. I was the OC for UNC (my team) and at the end of the year I was level 10.

Heres the snub.. Bryn Renner had 5500 something yards passing 40 TD's Passes and 17 Rushing TD's. I ran Ohio State's spread offense. I lead the NCAA in passing by almost 1500 yards and had 57 total TDs.

Braxon Miller won the Heisman with only 45 total TDs.

FAIL!

Re: Heisman Trophy Snub...

What were the team's records. If Miller was undefeated and going to the national championship I can see that.

Re: Heisman Trophy Snub...

Team record has a bunch to do with it. Did you even win your conference?

Re: Heisman Trophy Snub...

It's because Renner got caught taking impermissible benefits from Fats Thomas and he also had his teachers give him undeserved passing grades.... Lol sorry, NC State Alum

Yup, y'all are right. Miller took Ohio St. to NC vs. Alabama.

I didn't win ACC. Finished 12-1 beat Oregon in the Rose Bowl. But only lost was to VT in OT. VT had the tie breaker with that win to go to ACC.

dang..

Re: Heisman Trophy Snub...

I have one also that completely pissed me off. I set the NCAA season record for TDs with 60 passing TDs to go along with 21 rushing TDs and barely over 1000 yards rushing. Was undefeated going into the national title game with IU before losing to Texas in the NC.

81 total TDs.
Over 6,400 total yards.
A QB rating of 226.
Completion % of 72.6.
Did throw 12 INTs however but still a 60-12 TD-INT ratio is pretty damn good.

Still came in 2nd in the Heisman to Johnny Manziel.

Re: Heisman Trophy Snub...

I wonder if there is more of an emphasis on making it more difficult to win the Heisman in this year's game because of the fact that so many coach XP points are awarded for winning it? Just a thought..

Re: Heisman Trophy Snub...

I've noticed in years past that if a user player has ridiculous stats that they almost never win the Heisman. Seems the computer feels you're cheesing
